I have Cingular's new 7100g and am on my 2nd one - the first one was a lemon but this one seems OK.

However, I have a weird recurring problem. Often (about 1 out of every 5 calls) I'll pick up a call, usually from someone I know. The phone says "connected"; however, all I can hear is myself, and they aren't actually on the line - they've been shunted to VM.

I know they're trying to reach me, because they'll call back directly afterwards.

Anyone have a similar problem? I never had this problem with my prior blueberry on the AT&T network.
