Can you reinstall the BB OS.. 4.2 I think is the current version.
I tried the utility "JL_Cmder" but it didn't really do the job, didn't remove the items off the BB and I still have the same problems with the keys (a few posts down)...

I have a refurbished BB 8800....

Hopefully someone can help me out....

JL_Cmder will wipe the OS from the phone. Then you can load back any OS you want.
