Default Couple of n00b e-mailing questions

Please Login to Remove!

I use my Gmail account on my Curve 8310.

1. How do I stop getting a copy of all mail I send to the Blackberry?

2. When I receive a new Gmail message and I read it on my computer, shouldn't it automatically delete off the Blackberry too? If not, is there a way to do that?

Thanks

1. Do you have the account set up in BIS? If so, log into the BIS account and edit the gmail account to delete the AUTO BCC.

2. Email doesn't sync using BIS. You would have to delete from both places. Now with gmal, you might be able to reconcile by reading on the BB and then deleting and having it delete from both the handheld and the server.

I checked in there and the Auto BCC field was already blank.

Any other ideas why it does this?

Must be a setting in your gmail setup then. I don't use gmail on my BB, so I really can't help you there.

Not sure I understand your scenario...but if you are getting duplicate Gmail emails then....
