Try pulling the battery. If that doesn't reset the count, take a look at http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/H...%2C_or_zero%3F.

After stopping my head from spinning. I went to the source of all answers. Windows Vista, ok, well the calculator function. And I was shocked at the answer. This is what appeared as the result:

Result of function is undefined.

At least I didn't get a Blue Screen of Death.

-0/0 was undefined??

I guess that's true, because you can't have a positive zero, now can you

Well...

Anything divided by itself is equal to one.

But...

Anything divided by zero is equal to infinity.

So...

In this special case, I think you have to average the answers, so it would be (infinity + 1) / 2 = infinity (negative in this case, of course!)

Or...

For the poster who turned to Vista and the calculator for an answer, on a BlackBerry forum - shame, shame! The BlackBerry of course has a calculator, and the BlackBerry says the answer is: -E-

(Covering all the bases here)

IF 0/0 = X,

Then 0 = 0 * X

and any X mulitpled by 0 will be 0

so X cannot be defined.

Same for -0/0.

The "value" is $10million. Clearly stated. The answer to the question of the function is "undefined."
