Hi, another new and confused user here....is there any way to set the pearl to beep, say, every five minutes or so, when you have a new voicemai, text or email? It seems to me that you constantly have to wake it up to check your inbox. I thought the LED at the top was supposed to blink red when there were messages waiting but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think I would prefer a beep, or two.

Welcome to the forums.

You need a third party application for this. BlackBerry Alerts can handle this, I believe. The LED Reminder light will flash for about 10-15 minutes (or around that) but will stop after that.

You mean it will flash red for 10-15 mins, and then go back to green?

Yes, green if you have the signal coverage indicator enabled-- or nothing, if not enabled.
