Is there a way to tell what GSM frequency I am actually using on my 8800?

I have AT&T/Cingular in the DFW area but also just bought a nice back up phone to use when I am on the bike so as not to have to carry the 8800 with me all the time. I used to have an Ericsson t28 and loved its size and performance so I just got a refurbed t39 off the bay, but I see now that it's specs are 900/1800/1900 and I am finding out that AT&T uses 850/1900. I am also seeing that people have issues with the 1900 band on AT&T.

I know that I can always try the phone when it arrives and find out for myself through trial and error, but the engineering geek side of me wants to know the actual frequency I am on now
