Just purchased a used 7100i with Nextel service and this thing is like greek to me. I had a i580 and decided to try a Blackberry for the text mess. and email. But have no clue how to operate this beast. Someone please help this dumb redneck.

don't feel bad. I've had a Bb for 4 yrs now and as soon as i went to the 7100i it was like i fell and hit my head... true QWERTY has spoiled me, this faux qwerty phone is a mess all around IMO. and the key if you use the sure type is to not look at what you are writing until the end, then proof read before sending. otherwise it will drive you crazy if you watch all the words it thinks you want to say.

it's really difficult to get used to bb,but don't worry. once you're familliar with it you will fall in love with it

If I can get mine to re-load I would say nice things about my BB 7100i
