All,

I'm managing to confuse the hell out of myself with SQL permissions and role-based administration. Can anyone give me a quick summary of the permissions needed, on SQL, for the following types of users? ::

1) The main BES admin login;
2) Members of a DL which will be given the "rim_db_admin_security" role;
3) Members of a DL which wil be given the "rim_db_admin_sr_helpdesk" role;

Our DBA is very keen to minimise the number of people with sa permissions, but I have no idea which people /need/ sa in the first place!

It's a minefield out there..
