A friend of mines dropped my blacberry on the ground and my simcard came out(i been broke the little thingie that holds the simcard) so i had to open the back and put my simcard back in. When i turned it back on it stayed on for a couple of seconds and then powered off & it do this over and over again until i take the battery out. i purchased a new battery but that didnt help.
can someone help me please!!!

Sounds like the device is physically damaged as a result of the fall to the ground. Probably not much anyone can do to help.

If you have insurance through your carrier, it's time to file a claim for a new one. And I second Penguin - your friend owes you a phone.. or at least some $ towards the new one.

there is a great site I have found to by new bits for your BB when they happen to break or snap off.
I have bought a number of replacement screens, rails, trackballs and that sort of stuff.
