Im from MEexico, I want to upgrade my OS to 4.5, Can I download the one that is available here, or needs to be something for each country or carrier?

The version at the link above (which just happens to be the sticky at the top of this forum) will work. Just follow the detailed instructions.

thanks, I just be really sure is nothing is going to happen, My carrier said it must be upgraded by them

I'm not familiar with your carrier, but I don't believe you can upgrade a BB device OTA yet. I suppose they could have meant that you should only load an OS they approved, though.

Keep in mind that many carriers will not provide support for your device if you are using an OS version they did not approve.

That being said, I can't remember the last time I used the version of the BB 8100 or 8320 OS that T-Mobile approved and my phones have worked fine (with a few minor issues here and there).

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if its okay to go with the update to 4.5 if i am apart of a BES server. i have it loaded on my pearl (personal line) but now want to grab it for my 8310 curve

If you are using a company device and are on BES, you should talk to the BES Admin/IT staff about that. They control the device. Most likely they do not support OS 4.5 since it isn't out yet .

All that is really required on their part is a new activation password on the BES once you restart of the upgrade.
