Unhappy Upgraded Operating System to Version 4.5.0.55... then problems arose...

Please Login to Remove!

Per advice from one of my earlier posts, I recently upgraded my Blackberry 8310 to the latest version for its model. (Version 4.5.0.55). The installation was a complete success... until I realized my original Blackberry Browser was gone! I had to download the Opera Mini system instead, and none of my bookmarks, nor my homepage were there! They were, however, on my phone along with everything else. Furthermore, Opera operates completely different from the BBB, and it is very frustrating. Fortunately for me, I was obsessed with the Memo Pad feature for quite some time, and I managed to write down my phone's original Operating System: Version 4.2.2.170. Is there some way I can download the official Blackberry Browser, for the 8310 (on AT&T/"EDGE")?

As far as I can see, I have these options:

1. Download the Blackberry Browser I love, (I would like this most of all)

2. Import the Bookmarks on my phone's memory to the Opera, (second preference)

3. Seek more help here, (probably)

4. Downgrade back to 4.2.2.170 if possible. (NO, last resort only.)

PLEASE HELP!

Sincerely,

TurtleShroom

Resend your service books and the browser should come back.

Wirelessly posted

I to have been experiencing some problems since upgrading my OS ti 4.5. For whatever reason I have another icon for messages on my main menu which results in my getting duplicate emails. I have a personal and professional email accounts coming to my handset and its a little annoying getting duplicates from both email accounts.
