I have a B/B Pearl being used in India, and service provider does not support B/B services like email and others. Hence i m using my handset only to make/receive call, sms, etc. Can I Browse Internet at a Wi-fi Hot-Spot. If yes, wat settings do i have to do. I dont want the email service on the handset, i only want to browse the net thru my handset when it is in range of a wi-fi. Pl suggest

The 8100 does not have WiFi, so you can't do what you want to do.

There are other Indian service providers which provide BB data. However, as stated, your model doesn't have WiFi, so that will not be an issue whomever you use.

The solution - install opera mini and browse via Gprs or edge. For mail. Install gmail app.

He can set BB to check gmail account. It is no need to install any app.

ANOTHER ISSUE...
I subscribed for GPRS on my sim. But the operator says that i cannot configure the GPRS on my Handset. Can anybody tell me how do i go about doing it???
