Unhappy Weird Problem with my ringer.

Please Login to Remove!

Ok. I have a strange thing happening when I receive a call on my BB8330.

I have my phone options set to the following.

Out of Holster: Tone
Ring Tone: Ringer_BBPro_4
Volume: Medium
Repeat Notification: LED Flashing
Number of Vibrations: 1

In Holster: Vibrate+Tone
Ring Tone: Ringer_BBPro_4
Volume: High
Repeat Notification: None
Number of Vibrations: 1

Ok... Here's the problem.

When I get a call, while the phone is in the holster, it will vibrate once and then ring, just like it's supposed to. Then when i pull the phone out of the holster, it will stop ringing, wait about 3 seconds then vibrate once more and restart the ringtone again.

When i pull the phone out of the holster, should it not interrupt the ringtone and just keep ringing?

Thanks,

No, because it was in the holster when the call was initiated, so it will use those settings until you receive another call while it's out of the holster.

Wirelessly posted (Curve)

My phone does the same on being pulled out of the holster.I just figured it has something to do with the magnet.
