Its really gonna be priced at 399.99 for a two year contract, there will be a 100.00 MIR, which will make the phone 299.99

It is. At least 50-100 too much for any phone these days. I would think that price won't last more than a month before it starts coming down.

Let's hope so. Not sure if I want to jump on it now and use an exceptional upgrade or wait unil Jan 2009 when my wife's line is eligible for an upgrade. My line is not eligible unil Nov 2009.

wait and use wifes. In some markets to get an exceptional upgrade you sign a 2 year agreement but the phone wil cost 75 bucks more.

Doesn't matter what customer care says or notes in the account. That how it is in the market I work in

And people thought Best Buy's prices were a joke. At least comp-usa has it now for those who have nothing better to do then throw their money away.

You are right, I am probably better off waiting about 2 months and use my wife' upgrade. What is the fee when you are eligible for an upgrade? $18 or $36 I think?

Convenient since they won't have the phone until 11/4. Unless they let you order out of stock items.

If I wasn't exchanging the 3G iPhone for the BOLD I would've waited for a price drop as well. $400 out the door is a bit on the high end given the hard times of the economy.

One thing you might want to consider is that (supposedly) Best Buy will match prices within the return period if they lower their price or a competitor comes along with a lower price: BestBuy.com Help: <Topic>

However, one of the listed exceptions is lower prices based on mail-in rebates. Just a thought though.
