Default Just have to buy one…

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everybody!

I'm going to buy my first BB, and I'm looking for a Wi-Fi one…

since I can't consider Bold and Storm for budget reasons, I'm thinking to 8120 or 8220.

I don't love the shell design of the latter, but it has OS4.6 that the pearl hasn't…

at the end, which one would you buy? (other models will be evaluated )

Thanks in advance

The 8120 has 4.5 which is just as good. I wouldn't purchase a device because it has one OS or another. There is also the 8320. Don't rule that one out.

I'm just going to see if 8320 is available in Italyxxx8230;

So, you don't think there's so big difference with those OS?

thanks

No. I'd go with the device you prefer and don't worry about what OS is on it.

Ok!

Meanwhile, I've checked for 8320, and It's not for sale in Italy (don't ask me why :D)

So, which are the real differences between the two OS?

Not much. Did you read "don't worry about what OS is on it"?

Get the hardware you prefer (full QWERTY keyboard vs. condensed keyboard) etc.

The OSs are almost identical.

8220 and 8120 have the same qwerty condensed keyboard, haven't they?

So, which one of them has better performances?

thanks

The 8220 is newer and hase faster CPU / more speed.

But I perfer a lot the design of the 8120 as I hate clamshell phones and prefer candybar.

So, better CPU/speed for 8220?

Very likely the newer 8220 has promotional discounts on it.

Like before, this answer is all yours... The Bold has a full QWERTY keyboard, high resolution screen, etc... But if you dont need that, the answer is no..

Questions of worth area always subjective. We can't tell you if it's worth it to you. You need to consider the features, your preferences and the price and then decide yourself. For some people it's worth it. For others it's not.

If you want WiFi that also rules out the Storm...

Strictly speaking, the combination of different technologies justifies the higher price tag. This is the first of its kind and will likely be a bit higher in cost until similar devices follow it.

I'd try to get an unlocked 8320, I prefer full QWERTY keyboard than multi-tap.
