Is there any reason -from your experiences, that i would not want to use weatherbug on my blackberry 8330? I have seen alot of different weather applications mentioned but not much, or ever anything promoting it, is said about the weatherbug application. I live across the street from a school that has a monitoring station on it so I can pretty much check the real time weather -right in my back yard, as compared to seeing the weather at a weather service monitoring station.

I use WeatherBug Direct. Has great features including notification profiles.

I had that on my other phone. I found it to be extremely annoying. I never gave it the time of day, but the name alone sounds buggy.

I currently use a prog called Weather Eye....I tried weatherbug and had issues with ver 4.5 on my pearl...weather eye works well for me....

I've been using WeatherBug Direct for quite a while now, I like mainly like it because it gives one home screen with the temp and you can add another home screen for the current forecast, plus it pushes weather alert (tornado/hurricane/freeze watches) right to your BlackBerry. Not to mention animated camera/radar (camera isn't really the best quality however) and it's free.

I like the prog but never got the alert profiles to work.
