Default finally going to BES

Please Login to Remove!

went with mi8, got my exchange working, did the javaloader -usb wipe

reinstalled the desktop and 4.0 OS.....

entered my email address and password for activation, but still can't send emails?

I am getting emails that were forwarded to my tmobile account though?

Do I have to run the desktop director? I assumed the bes meant I could leave my pc off and synch to exnchage..

Is there a way to resend the BES service book or restart activation?

Any thoughts,

Did your BB go through the Enterprise Activation process? It should have taken a little while. If it only completed partially, you should be able to delete the Desktop service book entries and then have it perform the activation again. Mine always seems to activate after doing this if the Desktop Manager is open and actively connected ("online") to the Exchange server that is running BES. In my case, activation takes 30 minutes or more...but it has a lot of data to restore with the process.

It was Tmobile blocking the BES traffic.... Had to make sure they charged more money even though I don't use their servers to store BWC mail anymore!

All is well, IM never worked so well before and I can't believe I lived without this!

Thanks!
