Angry hebrew support for the storm

Please Login to Remove!

I have installed .83 for 9500. it supports all languages (including Arabic) except of Hebrew (supports the Semitic font for view only, but no input).

Hebrew is being supported on ALL RIM devices including 8900 and 9000.

Any idea why this is missing here ??? maybe a RIM related person can comment on that.

thanks

Hi,
I just switched from Bold to Strom - but cant find how to allow Hebrew fonts (at least view mode). I also can't find how to set Semitic language support on my Desktop manager.

Help....

The Jewish Calendar. It is different from the Gregorian calendar that is commonly used (you know, the one the BB comes with). 73

jewish calendar is based on the lunar and solar calendar. (352 and 365 days) thats why jewish holidays are always around the same time of solar year. ie passover is always in the spring.

I updated the 95xx hebrew.jad file if any storm users want to test it. i believe it will allow you to choose to have a hebrew menu. and possibly names by the icons in hebrew.

Index of /blackberry/95xx

let me know...i do not have a storm and i am curious. there were three additional he.cod files i found for the storm.

Go to the bold section and search. Newer OS multilingual versions have hebrew read and write support.

Did you click on the file called hebrew.jad? If you do that using your blackberry browser it should ask you to install hebrew.
