Default Dialing while in Mexico

Please Login to Remove!

I know I have to dial 001 before calling anyone in the US while in Mexico. Is there a way to do this automatically without having to change my address book?

I'm looking for something like what the iPhone has with the International Assist.

Just change your phone numbers to this format: +country_code city_code number

For example, for a number in San Antonio, enter +1 210 555-1234

A number in Spain: +34 91 64-32-2778

A number in Mexico +52 55 52-55-1234

The Plus sign enters automatically the long distance prefix needed in any part of the world.

Wirelessly posted

I was just in mexico with my bold. I just dialed normally +1 areacode phone number and it worked. Although the org cell providor I was on was 3g and great for data in order to make a phone call I had to manually switch to the oither cell providor. I can't remeber either of the names.

Just one provider actually has 3G and it is Telcel. Another provider is Movistar that is starting its own 3G network.
