Default Can Storm transfer data via bluetooth?

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought my Storm a few days ago and so far I'm quite pleased with it. I'm a big user of Outlook and it's nice to see that the Storm easily syncs up with my Outlook files.

Does anyone know if youy can sync up with your laptop using the bluetooth feature rather than the cord? I used to have a palm unit that synced through the infared port and that was slick not having to find the cord all the time.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can and I use it to tether my laptop to the internet aswell. I do sometimes have problems with bluetooth and internet tether though.

Default How do you do this?

Hi,
I ran across someone on a commuter shuttle the other day and he was using Outlook as well as surfing. I asked him what type of card he had in his laptop? His reply was that he used his Blackberry's bluetooth to make the connection to his laptop.

Where does one find this software? What is the best product out there? What requirements are needed to make this work? My 4 year old laptop does not have the bluetooth built in. It is wireless however. Would like to try this option especially with all the add on charges through Verizon.

Thanks
Ivan

Wirelessly posted

You will need to add tethering service to your account. Then just download the access manager.
