Default Yahoo! Go 3.0 for bold

Please Login to Remove!

today i was prompted at yahoo.com to download Yahoo! Go 3.0 for my bold. i already have Google Maps and it works fine, but the map display for Yahoo! Go 3.0 is pretty crisp and nice, and the locate feature seemed to work fine. one strange thing: i was using wi-fi only for the initial Yahoo! Go 3.0 download, but later when i had to do a second part to complete download and install, Yahoo! Go 3.0 would not let me go forward with just a good wi-fi connection and the only way i could complete was by turning back on the at&t network connection. not sure if that makes any sense. also not sure if i'll like Yahoo! Go 3.0 better than Google Maps but now have both and will see what i think. (perhaps unnecessarily, i reconfigured bold's browser temporarily to "blackberry browser" before downloading Yahoo! Go 3.0.) has anyone else downloaded Yahoo! Go 3.0 and formed any opinions? so far (and i've only played with it a little), it looks as good or better than it was on old 8820

Default yahoo Go 3.0

I've been using y! Go for a week or two. I like it. It's easy to use and offers a lot of customizing for content. I installed the wiki widget successfully and used it a few times but had problems with so I removed it. I like the APP and will keep it for now. I have many of the modules from My Yahoo page on the Go.

I'm new to this forum. I downloaded Yahoo Go 3.0 and wanted to know if it causes memory leaks. I had Viigo, but many said they had issues with that app, so I deleted it because it was causing some memory leaks right away. I noticed today my memory was low, so something is causing it. I'm wondering if this could be the reason.

Thanks

Welcome to both of you. I have installed the app a few days ago and dont notice any memory issues. It works quite well on my bold.

Thank you! Hmmm, I don't want else could be causing the memory leak. When I installed Viigo, I had memory leaks already. With Yahoo Go, it was overnight.

Interface seems a bit slow... Wish they would pack in more icons in the main menu than use a carousel.
