Default Dust in screen??

Sorry if this is the wrong section to be posting this...

so im getting rid of my old curve and i always used to keep it in my pocket and some dust got in the usb port i believe and you can now see it on the inside of the screen i really dont want to crack it open has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it

i was thinking of getting some air duster and blowing it in the usb port just worried what could happen?

It shouldn't hurt the phone to shoot some canned air into the USB port to blow out anything that might be inside it. I don't know if that will help with the dust in the screen. I haven't really had to deal with a situation like that so I don't know what the preferred way to clean it up is (if there is one).

My Curve has dust inside, not from the usb connection, but rather on the top-right corner. I'd guess the screen gasket wasn't sealed as well as it should have been. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to buy a new shell and I will clean the screen and re-seat it to avoid dust inside the device.
