Default sms2mail: a free tool to get your sms forwarded

Please Login to Remove!

hi all,
my company decided to release one of my latest tools for free.
and as this forum is a great place to hang around and some of you helped me with some issues i want to share my tool with you.

at the moment it is only available in german but i hope we can release a international version soon. as the tool is quite simple i don't think you will have problems with the language though.

short description:
sms2mail receives incoming sms and forwards them to the mail-account of the BBs owner (default) or any other e-mail-adress. it works as a system module and can be activated/deactivated via a graphical front-end.
you can now archivate your SMS within your e-mail-client.

you can get the program here (jad-file):
sms2mail

informations (only in german atm) and a free registration are available at
www.bfinet.de/sms2mail/

if you have any questions, remarks or issues feel free to contact me via PM or mail to [email address]

looking forward to feedback of any kind,

gs
simon

Just installed this app...

1) You can not load jad files using Desktop Manager.
2) The OTA download is seemless.
3) It is a great tool, to keep a backup copy of your SMS messages in your inbox.
4) Easy to use... start/stop if necessary.
5) Support team was immediately responsive... (they must use blackberries... ;) )

we do not have a BB 7520 available here, tested it only with a simulator using the 7520 settings. it should work with all Blackberrys running 4.0

We translated our page, if you go to http://www.bfinet.de/sms2mail/ you get the international page now.
The new version of our tool is also translated into english as well as the user manual.

to download the file you can simply open
http://www.bfinet.de/sms2mail/counter_eng.asp
with your BB or submit your e-mail on our page, you get the download link sent to your BB.

if you need any other form of install just contact me per PM and i'll do it in some spare time.
