Once I upgraded my phone's os to the upgraded Verizon download it doesn't allow me to do a backup of the phone through Desktop Manager any more. I installed desktop manager on a new computer and it fails the same, so it is definitely the phone.

I tried to clear the cache, as I read in another thread and that didn't work.
I can back up the items individually but when I try to main backup it errors out. Anyone know why?

I have a Verizon Pearl 8130 and the latest version of Desktop Manager 4.7.0.32

Try to use Desktop Manager 4.5, maybe this can help you...

Where can I still download 4.5? from my original CD maybe?

Why, does 4.7 have known bugs?

The Blackberry site has versions really far back so I uninstall 4.7 and installed 4.5. The problem still remains. Any ideas?

I am wondering if there is some type of problem on the phone? Help
