Ok, I searched but no joy. Somewhere on here is an app that can be d/loaded to a bb that deletes unused languages and a few other things. Anyone seen it lately?

Nope, no cigar for you. There is an ota that installs on your BB.

Found it! MaxMem, its an ota that removes ptt, vad and a whole bunch of other stuff. Very handy.

the unused languages can be deleted right from your blackberry. what "other things" does this program you're talking about clear up?

And no, I can't delete languages using any internal facility on my BB.

Sure you can.

You can go into Setup Wizard, select languages and click next. Select the language you wish to use, it will then prompt you if you would like to remove all the other languages.

Had a peak in the app files and cant see any language but english! Must have had a blackout or something. Still my search turned up MaxMem, a great ota that frees up lots more memory. Thanks to all who responded to my lunatic ramblings.
