Default What Does This Symbol Mean??

Please Login to Remove!

Its stays at the top of the screen. it has a number (1 or 2 or 3 etc) and next to the # it looks like 2 canisters of film side by side, upside down? I checked the manual and it says nothing about this symbol. Any ideas

If its directly below the Date and Time, centered, then it sounds like it's your voicemail indicator. The number in front of the symbol is the amount of voicemails you have.

To check for sure - press your phone button (far left next to BB button). If the same symbol appears next to the number 1 on your keypad, that is what it is.

Aight?

OK so how do you get rid of this icon when you have no voicemails? Thers no number in front of it, just the VM symbol and I have no new/old voicemails.

What to do?

Have you done a battery pull? Are you using a a 3rd party VM service or your carriers?

Try calling yourself, leaving a voicemail and then listening to it. See if that resets your counter if the battery pull doesn't work.
