When I recieve a message (sms/mms/email) my BlackBerry Curve is locked on the moment I recieve that message.

When I unlock the BB, the message opens automatic and appears on my screen. Can you disable this?

Nope. I do not think there is a way to disable that feature.. I have read somewhere that if you wait for while (10-15 secs) before either unlocking the keypad or taking out the BB out of the holster, the message will not auto open. Give it a shot and let us know.

this has been brought up before. its my understanding that t is arranged as a "convenience factor" enables by RIM.. as of now, there is no way around it other than to wait a few secs to unlock it

After waiting for a minute it still opens automatic, I have installed a new OS today but it makes no difference
