I'm about to buy some Clarivue screen protectors and it's recommended I clean the screen before applying the protector. Would eye glass lens cleaner work? Or would that damage the screen?

Whatever you do, don't spray anything on the screen. Spray the cloth (microfiber) and then wipe the screen.

you can surely spray lens cleaner liquid on the screen but just need to ensure that nothing creeps on the sides.

You can surely drive your car without a seat belt, just need to ensure you don't get into a wreck.

There is no need to spray the screen. Spray the cloth instead.

Thanks for the replies. I decided to just use luke warm water, it's seems like the safest bet.

1 part isophrople (spelling) alcohol and 2 parts water. Dip cloth in solution, and clean screen.
