Disclaimer: I'm coming from .75 and .113 is AMAZING! I'm not trying to dump on the OS upgrade at all.

But I have a couple of questions

One of the new changes is the addition of a phone icon:

"Added Phone icon to home screen."

Now... having played around with it... I'm not sure why the phone icon was added at all. I mean... it doesn't do anything that the green hard button doesn't already do. Or am I missing something?

Another change in the change log is:

"Enhancements to ensure that phone features are not accidentally accessed when phone is held up to ear."

Now, I use TalkLock on my storm... I made a call... disabled TalkLock, bringing me to the call screen... and put the phone up to my ear... pressed it against my cheek... and I can STILL "accidentally" activate any of the buttons on the screen.

I had one of my friends who just upgraded his storm to .113 but DOESN'T use TalkLock, try a call as well. He put the phone up to his ear/face... and was also able to "accidentally" activate the mute, and speaker buttons.

So does anyone know exactly what these "Enhancements to ensure that phone features are not accidentally accessed when phone is held up to ear." are?

Can anyone figure it out? I'm simply curious, is all.

I'll say this for anyone using .75, though... upgrade to .113 and you'll love it. There's a huge difference in performance alone. Everything is faster. Menus... apps... it's great!

Hanwei, I can't answer the enhancements question but I will say the phone icon is probably a lifesaver for total noobs lol. The reason I say that is because everyone I show my phone too they are like, how do you dial someone on there? Is there not a button for it? I'm like, you can press this GREEN one or scroll down and find the phone icon. It's also kinda grayed out which makes itself look weird compared to the other icons. I leave my phone icon at the very bottom, I don't use it in my 2 important rows. When I want to dial, I just hit the green button.
