Default I would like SMS messages to autodisplay

I do not use the BB holster at all so for me there is no distinction between in-holster and out of holster. I would like for my SMS messages to auto display upon arrival. Is this possible?

Thanks for the response. If I were using the holster then the messages would auto-display upon removing the bb from the holster, correct? Where si that turned on and off?

Correct. This setting is not turned off (or on) on the device.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 9530)

You may want to consider a third party program to do this, such as Aerize Alerts.

I second that. The App is very useful... Of course I'm using a Messages them now so I turned that app off for now.

I've used Aerize Alerts and it does exactly what you want. I found it a bit too intrusive for me, but if SMS messages were my highest priority it would be ideal. It comes with a free 7-day trial so you can demo it and decide.

Agreed, rambo - I ended up removing it because the pop-ups started to annoy me, but to me all that says is that it's very good at what it does!
