WMV files and camera zoom feature

I have an 8110 pearl.
Occasionally my zoom feature for the camera locks up and I have to remove the battery & reinstall the battery to regain control. Any fixes for this?
Also, when i try to open a WMV file I get an error messege stating my device will not open this type of file. Are there any apps that would allow me to view these on my BlackBerry? Or are my settings wrong.
