i downloaded the .jad file or ota file to my phone...the ota file was a theme...how do i find it...its not in settings>>themes in my BB...help???

what do u mean by that?
i also found the downloaded file in advanced options in applications..
i downloaded a different file and it worked...is the first file corrupted?

Some require you to pull the battery while the device is running.

well it reboots my phone when its done downloading it...

If it's a theme it should go to Options>Themes. It'll also be in Advanced options>Applicatioins (that's to delete it or set permissions). It could go to the Downloads folder but none of my themes ever have. You should reboot the phone before you use it. Make sure you have a stock theme running when you pull the battery to reboot the phone. 3rd party themes sometimes freeze the phone.
