Hi, I am new to blackberrys and the forum.

I am trying to diagnose why a important user did not recieve appointments wirelessly (some new some updated) when his PA booked them via his outlook 2003 calendar.

The user never uses desktop manager/usb so totally relies on wireless. He has no "pending" items. He does go out of GPRS range and run the battery down sometimes.

One thing i noticed is wireless activation status is "password not set" and the documents 'suggests' that after 31 days the token/key will expire and the user needs to use desktop manager to create a new one.

I thought the key could be exchanged wirelessly? How can I tell if he has a active key?

I have read all the other topics on calendars.

The wireless activation password "not set" is for Enterprise Activation only so dont worry about that, it has nothing to do with calendar sync.

As for this users issue, if they dont have access to DM then you may want to try re activating them on the BES. The best way to do this is to remove and re add the user from the BES [clearing the BB info and stats if prompted] perform a security wipe on the HH followed by Enterprise Activation.
