Default Free T-Mobile Internet suddenly gone, then back, but different!??

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, this question is not for noobs, and def not for ppl that are going to criticize me ethically. This question is towards the ppl that know what I have and have it too.

For the last 2 years, I have had free internet on my curve, and now on my storm (when I switched 3 weeks ago) and now all the sudden 2 days ago, T-mobile cut my internet off.

I had the right settings in the TCP/APN and everything was perfect. So it first disappeared and said unable to connect, and now, 2 days later, after re-installing all service books and resending them, I got it to work again, however it is VERY VERY VERY slow.

Is anyone else experiencing this that has free internet thru the apn settings???

Private message me or answer here, I am curious if im the only one or if t-mobile finally changed their systems.

Well, I'm assuming that if you have been using their internet for free, they have finally caught on and locked you out. I'd be happy that they didn't back charge for those two years

Not True. They can make you pay. I know that doesn't answer your question. But, you can be held liable.

Just like people using other peoples WIFI and hotspots. Cases have been tried and there has been prosecution.

im pretty sure they can't. im studying law, and the way hotspots and wifi work is, that you connect KNOWINGLY and with INTENT to use those service w/ a possible intent in defrauding the services. however, if the internet is just turned on, by THEIR mistake, on YOUR phone, then under consideration, you are under the believe that it is somehow included in your service because you don't contribute or do anything intentionally other than going your business and using the phone's capabilities.

imagine playing a game on your phone, and then getting a bill saying for every hour using it you gotta pay, although it was the full version, already enabled on your phone, with NO notice that you may be charged.

I think the original post already set "intent."
Cases have been tried, and convictions obtained for unlawful intrusion on networks.
Stupidity may be tried for a defense, but it generally is not successful.
I would just be happy that I had it for so long, and move on.

So by your thinking if I move onto a house and the cable is on I get it for free and its legal?

Wrong. If you're studying law you should know that using a paid service without paying is illegal no matter if the company made a mistake or not.
