I have downloaded both of these browsers to try to see which one I would like to use on my 8330. One issue I have with both is that while I am on the main home page, if I click the "blackberry button" just left of the track ball, to open the "menu, the menu flashes and then disappears. It is there in the background because if I scroll down, I see it flicker. How can I get this to stop?

I would try a battery pull first. If that doesn't help, consider reinstalling the programs. Download/install one first and see if the problem exists when the other browser hasn't been installed yet.

Just to add, there's an Opera Mini 4.2 and a 5.0. Make sure to try both. 5.0 is still an initially released beta.

If you don't have it, you need to install a Visible Menus theme. The transparent menus don't work with those browsers.

Yup, that was it. I figured it out shortly after you posted. Not sure I really like either. Any word on when/if Firefox will be adding a mobile browser?

Opera Mini 4.2 is a solid work horse browser. The Beta 5.0 is just not ready. The berry button is useless, there is no sync option, settings is buried in tabs, its very slow and lots more. I went back to 4.2 because in Mobile View its the best browser ever.

The stock BB browser I only use it for downloading OTA themes. Pretty much useless for my needs.
