hI, got an 8900, but it gives the "data service unavailable" prompt even if im on wi-fi when i try to sign into yahoo messenger. Please help

do you have a data plan service? if not, you should. otherwise nothing will work with wifi but the browser.

Mine did that for a while until I took the battery out, reinstalled and booted it back up, which fixed the problem.
