cnet is in bed with apple, so reviews of most competing touch screens will not be as rave as reviews for the iphone on this web site.....

Zero7404,

I dunno about that. Cnet was objective with regard to the iPhone and its first gen flaws.

I still say it really boils down to what purpose your phone will serve. If you are seeking a phone to compliment your professional life the Storm / any Blackberry is the way to go.

If you are looking for a communications device with fun apps and intuitive interfacing capabilities the iPhone simply blows the Storm away. Apple simply knocks the socks off the competition in that area. I am all MAC with it comes to personal and professional computing.

However, I am sold on Blackberry when it comes to email and business applications. If Apple gets its stuff together, improves its emailing capabilities, SMS/MMS, and ditches the terrible connectivity challenged AT&T service provider then it may be a lot different when deciding between the iPhone and the Storm.

I agree that C|Net is in bed with Apple, but I still think the review was balanced. And, I would think that there's still some tweaking to be done to the OS. Personally, I'm happy with my current Storm but am looking forward to the new release, particularly WiFi.
