Default Handheld OS 5.0 and Individual Enterprise Mailbox

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 on T-Mobile running OS 5.0.0.330. Prior to activation on the BES when I restored my BB info, there was an option to determine which email accounts appeared in my main messages folder and there was an individual icon for my enterprise Outlook mailbox. Since activation on the BES, I can no longer choose which email accounts I want to appear in my main messages folder and there is no longer an individual mailbox for enterprise messages.

Can you please let me know if there is a setting in the BES to re-enable these features and where it is so I can explain to the BES admins? I don't think we upgraded to BES 5.0 yet as I can't sync email flags.

Thanks!

When you are in the message list, hit the Menu button and choose "Options". Then click "Main Message List Settings". In there, you can tick the things you want to see in your message list, for example Blackberry, BIS and SMS and MMS.

Also, if you are missing icons, on the main screen, hit the Menu botton twice and then choose "Show All". Maybe some icons are hidden.

Thanks, freakinvibe. The problem is that the "Main Message List Settings" option is not there. I believe the BES caused it, but am not 100% sure. Is there an option on the BES that would disallow that menu option?

Besides the BES, do you have any other message source (BIS, Unite etc.)? If not, i.e. if you are just connected to BES and nothing else, you won't be able to choose any other email accounts.

I was running an earlier version 5.0.0.314, that had the message list option. I am now using running 5.0.0.405 and the message list option is no longer available. Does anyone know if RIM is doing away with this feature?
