Default 8310 device memory option?

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, i don't have an sd card or bbdm,
when i plug my phone to the computer, i cannot access my bb device memory, how can i set my device memory to pop up mass storage when i plug it in the usb, my bb option list only has media card not device memory options, please help thank you

You need to install DM so you have all of the correct drivers.

If you don't want to use DM, then get an adapter fr the SD and plug it directly into the PC, transfer your files and then put it back into the BB.

thanks for the input..however, i think you are refering to the micro sd card. i just need to access my device memory as a drive when i plug it into the computer

Install DM. That has the proper drivers you need so the PC recognizes the BB.

actually.i do have dm installed..for my 9700...still no luck for 8310

IIRC on the 8310 mass storage mode is for the media card only.

Media Manager will allow you to move media in and out of device memory, IIRC, but I don't recommend it.

Yes, the computer will not see the Device Memory. You have to use Roxio Media Manager in order to see the Device Memory on a computer. Mass Storage Mode won't work with the Device Memory.
