Hi guys

I have a quick problem

if i delete an email in my outlook inbox
does it delete it on the blackberry

Is this posible because the 7100 g are currently not deleting email on the device if its deleted in outlook

Unless you are on a BES, deleting an email in Outlook will not delete the email on your blackberry.

Not sure then, I'm not super familiar with BES and its inner workings....hopefully someone else will chime in. Check all your wireless sync settings though, as that could very well be the culprit. You may also want to ask your BES admin, as they may have it set up that way as a double-check of sorts, so you don't lose emails.... Good luck!

Welcome to the site.

First, go to Messages/Options/Email Reconciliation. Set Delete on: to Mailbox & Handheld. Set Wireless Reconcilation: to On. Set On Conflicts: to Mailbox Wins.

Second, do not hard delete messages in Outlook. The BES does not recognize that type of delete. To get best results, open email and click Delete from toolbar (or File/Edit/Delete). CTRL+D apparently will work sometimes, but not always.

Finally, there are several threads discussing these issues. Recommend you do a search.
