Is there a way to keep the clock continuously visible? For example, set bedside mode and keep the clock visible - mine fades after the usual timeout period.

I know I can just eliminate the screen timeout but I wanted to check if there's a quicker way than going in and changing that setting back and forth.

Nope.
It would drain your battery for it to be constantly lit.

If your phone is plugged into a charger at night, a program such as bblight can be set to keep the backlight on when on external power..

Only problem is that the time is in binary. But it stays on all the time. (because it's an app.. )
