Is there any to get the Google Voice app for BB, to trigger the traditional voicemail notification symbol? I have not figured out if this is possible... GV itself allows for email or sms notification, but I don't see anything in the GV app "Options" to enable some sort of vm notification on the BB

I've never figured out how to do this. I get mine via SMS, which causes that notifier to go off, but I don't see how it's possible for GV to light up the BB's voicemail notification.

Sidenote: some of my contacts have serious southern accents, and the way GV misunderstands what they're saying is a constant source of amusement to me. I doubt I would enable the feature you're describing even if I had it, because the garbled text messages are so funny.

I've also tried playing around with it, but haven't figured out anything either. That would be a really nice feature. For the time being, we can only hope GV will improve on the app in its future updates.
