Default 8700g: thread removed? What latest firmware?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, the BB8700g, although old, has been one of the most popular BB few years ago. Why it appears that the discussion about 8700g has totally been removed from the forum?

And what is the latest version of the firmware?

Thanks for any help!

It's legacy hardware.

Latest versions can be found in the Legacy Forum - General Legacy Device Discussion - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community

hello NJBlackBerry, what you mean: it is a legacy hardware matter?

I am confused and again I do not understand why there is no any thread (discussion) about 8700g any more (since probably last October 2009). Period.

Thanks anyhow for the firmware link for the 8700g

Puffo,

He gave you the link you need. All the 8700/7100/7200/7500 devices have been groups as "Legacy Devices". There is a forum labeled that and that's where you'll find the OS stickied at the top.

General Legacy Device Discussion - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community <- here it is again for you.
