I have a 2005 BMW X5 and am planning on buying a Blackberry Storm 2. Given the "generational difference" between the two, does anyone know if I will be able to link up the BB with the X5's Bluetooth system?

I have an '05 X3 (wife's) with probably the same bluetooth module as you. I just ran out to garage and paired my S2 and made phone call. You should be good-to-go.

I have a BB9550 from Verizon (using it unlocked on Rogers). I have it bluetoothed to 2 BMWs, an 04-645 and also an 09-X5. No problems. The sound quality thru my handsfree is much better in the 09 vehicle, but both work equally well.

That's good news on the hands free feature working. I definitely was not up for having to buy another Bluetooth earpiece.
