PLEASE help.

Ive bought a new BB 9700 few weeks ago. I put some pics and some music on it. It has a 2gb memory card in it.

I dropped it in the leather case and its reverted back to the old ringtone and my musc and pictures are gone.

I went to put them back on via the computer but its telling me "please insert a disk into drive j"?

Is the phone knackered? or do I need to buy a memory card?

Any ideas where I need to send to get repaired.
I live in Glasgow

Any assistance would be great.

When you say the files are gone, you mean you cankt view them using the blackberry? Can you access the media card with the blackberry?

Do you have media card support and mass storage enabled?

Try reseating it. Maybe it just slipped and isn't making contact. Worth a try. I doubt just dropping it once would ruin the card.

I had this same issue. I had to re-seat the media card twice to get it to connect properly again.
