I have a blackberry 9530 storm that was unlocked for att. im having a hard time setting the browser up on the phone to work with att. As well as setting up my email. HelP

First, you need a blackberry data plan on your account and your blackberry PIN registered with the data service, that is the BIS. Have you done that?

Once you get the confirmation messages, you should have the blackberry browser icon. You can then set up your email accounts in BIS, which you can do from the handset (look for the setup wizard icon) or from your carrier's BIS portal on the internet. I recommend for the first time that you do it from the web portal.

It's possible you have an IT policy blocking features. If so, remove it.

thanks got browser and email , not im aving problems with my sim card. saved my contacts but they seemed to have been wiped out. at the same time my phone says error accessing sim card. any ideas?

Take the SIM out and look at the contacts. They should be clean. You may want to wipe with a lint free cloth if you have one. Then reinset the SIM and make sure it is seated.

tried it still nothing. but my sim in another phone and it works. saved all my contacts and tried to access my sim. and nothing. I
