Hi, I`am waiting for my otterbox defender to come today, ordered it from Amazon.

I think I ordered one that just said Blackberry Storm, although I have the storm 2.

Are they the same cases and will it fit?

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

They will likely not fit. I believe they are different sized. Why don't you check amazon and see what one you ordered

Oh I`am well annoyed then.

I just checked it and it doesnt say Storm 2. Just Storm.

I put in Otterbox Blackberry Storm 2 into the search box then ordered the first one I saw.

Looking at it now, it just says Storm.

I payed extra to get it today too, cant believe I made such a stupid mistake. I dont know if they`ll take it back.

Just got my Storm 2 the day before yesterday. I am made up, its a fantastic phone. My first Blackberry.

Not trying to offend you but you should research a little more specially in amazon. It will save you time and money.
Also going into the brands website directly helps. Otterbox site specially indicates the cases are different.

I hope you get it right. In my opinion the Defender is too big. I have the commuter and I love it.

Good luck

Seidio is the best case for the Storm 2. Thin, super hard, fits great.

Here's a link.

The problem with sedios cases is that the inter locking pieces may break. And not having a rubber layer is a letdown for a glass screen device

No offence taken :P

I`am a prize idiot and it didnt fit, too small.

I`ve ordered another that actually says storm 2.

It doesnt show a pic of the belt clip and holster, I assume all the defenders come with one though

The defender does come with the belt holster.
I had to buy a new one because the Storm1 holster does not fit the 2 (there is just enough difference between the two).
I love Otterbox cases (I have the defender and the commuter). I did like the belt carrier for the Storm1 Otterbox a little better.

Defender comes with belt clip. Commuter does not.

You should have not opened it, and Otterbox would have exchanged it.

Seidio is junk compared to Otterbox.
