you did pull the battery correct?. leave it there for at least 3 days. If it seems still to be damp try a hair dryer on COOL and then put it back in new Rice for a day or two.
I won't ask why it was in the bathroom.

yeah. i pulled the battery out right away. it was only in the water for 5 seconds. i did dry it using a hair dryer before putting it in the rice. it started to turn back on but then shut off.

i was doing my hair and my little sister came in and knocked it off the window sill, into the toilet.

You know what else goes in toilets, right? You're going to put that thing up to your head?

So you tried to dry it with the hair dryer and re-inserted the battery? Not good.
the battery is out now correct?

A flushed toilet is cleaner than most sinks.

yes and i'm going to sanitize it before i start using it again. i have no other phone to use and i'm not about to spend 350 for a new one if this one will work. t-mobile is already sending me a replacement for the other problem i was having with this phone so i'll be getting a new one, but i have to send this one back

you may have another problem now. The water damage indicator will be on and T-Mobile may not replace it for free.

alexjk;
once your sure it's dry and the dispay looks dry, try it. you have nothing to loose by doing the rice for an extra day or so. You just want to be sure there is not water left in it and the indicator stays white so when they get it back you wont have any problems with the return.

Go get a lottery ticket!!!!!!

Alexjk, ignor him or her. your questions are exactly why this site exists. Not many will respond has she does but some will.

Ok so it's and RSS site. then go RSS yourself.
