Hello,

Hoping to find some help here. My company recently took on a new client that was being managed by someone else. There was one person at the office that had a Blackberry but has recently switched and before the former IT guy left, he uninstalled BES Express so that it wouldn't take up space on their server (it's a bit old).

They run SBS 2003 and ever since the BES Express was installed, they said their e-mail is erratic. Basically something is interrupting Exchange on their SBS and it will fix with a reboot, but they can't afford to have 3 or 4 reboots in a day.

Is there a removal tool that will completely eliminate any traces of the BES install or is there a guide one of you BES experts know of to completely remove all traces of the BES Express software from the server?

It's probably a long shot but I've looked around and not seemed to find anything.

Please do a proper back up before attmpting this.

after uininstall remove all RIM folders then remove all RIM entries in registry.

And remove the BESAdmin service account in AD.
