Hi All,

I've recently bought a Curve 8520 on contract with Orange UK, is it possible to install OS 5 (at the moment running OS 4.6) Does the phone need to be unlocked from Orange?

Yes you can install OS 5.
Unlocking only allows you to use it with a different carrier's SIM; and has no relation to the OS.
